Cold Case Online provides fictional case files for personal, non-commercial play. All cases, people and places are fictional; any resemblance to real persons or events is coincidental.
A purchase unlocks one case, or every case for a week or a year, for the account that bought it. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or lent. Because case files and subscriptions are digital products delivered instantly, all purchases are final and non-refundable once access is granted; see the refund and cancellation policy. Weekly and yearly plans renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time from the account page, with access continuing to the end of the paid period.
A host who owns a case may open a room for up to eight players, host included; guests play free while the room is open. A room lasts up to 4 hours from the moment it is created, and closes automatically if the host is away for 15 minutes. After a room closes, guests no longer have access to the case. Rooms are meant for playing together with people you know, not for giving access to the public.
You may not: copy, screenshot in bulk, republish or resell case content or solutions; post room codes, invite links, account logins or case content on forums, social media, group chats with strangers or any public place; run rooms back to back to give ongoing access to people who have not bought the case; use scripts, bots or any method to get around room limits, access checks or payment; or otherwise abuse the service in a way that harms its sales or other players.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to close rooms, suspend or permanently terminate any account, and cancel any purchase or subscription, without refund, if we reasonably believe the account has broken these terms, shared access or content publicly, abused the room system, or disputed a delivered charge. We may also remove leaked content and take any legal action available to us.
We may update these terms, prices and features, including room limits. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
